It's Farmers and Artisans Market time in the Boro! Our Market Committee meets periodically. Register as one of the vendors in our summer-long Farmer's and Artisan's Market. Our Market is hosted every Second Saturday, starting May 11th at Lee Street Park beginning at 09:00 a.m. and ending at 2:00 p.m. The market brings together many vendors offering a wide variety of home-grown items. In addition to the home-grown items, you can also find self care, health and wellness options, great gifts and sometimes even music. We strive to provide healthy, locally-produced food and products to our community. The market fee is only $50 for the entire season! Your payment methods are as follows: 1. Main St. between Pine Circle and Spring St. We have the following provisional line up for you. Motorcycles provided by Big Wheel Life and Kings of the South MC. Automobiles brought to you by the Hennessy Automotive Group

Beautification and Improvement Grant
|
The Clayton County Office of Economic Development has allocated America Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant funds to the Commercial Beautification and Improvement Grant Program to assist owners of commercial property with repair, enhancement and improvement for commercial properties within Clayton County.
The Clayton County Strategic Economic Development Plan specifies a need for beautification to attract new business and investment to Clayton County.

We are making plans for the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade to be held Monday, January 15th, 2024, at 12:00 noon in Historic Jonesboro. We are inviting ALL organizations to participate in this great event by placing a float, car, truck, van, etc., in the parade. WE ARE ENCOURAGING ALL PARTICIPANTS TO ENTER A FLOAT.
