PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES

170 SOUTH MAIN STREET

OCTOBER 4^TH, 2010 – 2:00 p.m.

The City of Jonesboro Mayor and Council held a Public Hearing for Public Comments related to the proposed 2010 Millage rate. The Public Hearing was held October 4^th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Jonesboro Police Station, 170 South Main Street Jonesboro, Georgia.

Council Present: Luther Maddox, Mayor

Clarence Mann, Councilmember

Bobby Wiggins Councilmember

Wallace Norrington, Councilmember - absent

Joe Compton, Councilmember

Roger Grider, Councilmember

Pat Sebo, Councilmember - absent

Staff Present: Janice Truhan- City Clerk, and Sandra Meyers- Finance Officer

The Mayor called the meeting to order.

The Mayor explained that this was the second in a series of three hearings to be held regarding the 2010 Millage rate proposed at two (2) Mills. Mayor Maddox called for Public Comments.

Public Comments were made by Mrs. Nancy Coffman, Mr. Barron, Mr. Mitchell, and Mr. B.

Lewis– business owners.

The Mayor closed the Public Hearing.
