CALLED COUNCIL MEETING AND

WORKSESSION MINUTES

NOVEMBER 29, 2010

The City of Jonesboro Mayor and Council held a Called Council meeting and Worksession on Monday, November 29, 2010. The meeting was held at6:00 p.m. at the Jonesboro Police Station, 170 South Main Street Jonesboro, Georgia.

Council Present: Luther Maddox, Mayor

Clarence Mann, Councilmember

Wallace Norrington, Councilmember

Joe Compton, Councilmember

Pat Sebo, Councilmember

Bobby Wiggins Councilmember

Councilmember Roger Grider was not present.

Staff Present: Chief Allen, Joe Nettleton Public Works Director, Sandra Meyers Finance Director and Administrative Assistant Pat Daniel.

Mayor Maddox called the meeting to order.

ITEMS (A-B) CALLED MEETING AGENDA

A. Considered Resolution authorizing the Mayor to sign the Intergovernmental agreement – Construction of Raised Concrete Median – Jonesboro Road at Johnson Street, issued by Clayton County.

Approved. [Motion: Wiggins, 2^nd: Sebo, Vote Unanimous].

B. Considered Clayton County Building Maintenance Department proposal for the construction of a bathroom facility at Massengale Park, and authorize the Mayor to sign contract.

Approved. [Motion:Wiggins, 2^nd:Norrington, Vote: Unanimous].

ITEMS (C-F) WORKSESSION

C. Considered motion to enter Executive Session for the purposes of discussing personnel

matters. [Motion:Norrington, 2^nd:Compton, Vote: Unanimous].

D. Considered motion to resume Regular meeting. Approved. [Motion: Norrington, 2^nd:Mann,

Vote : Unanimous].

E. Considered vote, if any on matters discussed in Executive Session. No vote.

F. Considered discussions on budget.

Mayor Maddox called for a motion to adjourn. Approved. [Motion: Sebo, 2^nd: Mann, Vote: Unanimous].
