CALLED COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES

July 15th, 2011

The City of Jonesboro Mayor and Council held a called meeting on Friday, July 15th, 2011.  The meeting was held at 3:00 p.m. at the Jonesboro Police Station, 170 South Main Street Jonesboro, Georgia.

Council Present:        Luther Maddox, Mayor

                                    Roger Grider – Councilmember

                                    Clarence Mann, Councilmember

                                    Wallace Norrington, Councilmember - absent

                                    Pat Sebo, Councilmember

                                    Bobby Wiggins, Councilmember

                                    Joe Compton, Councilmember - absent

Staff present:  Janice Truhan - City Clerk, Chief Franklin Allen, and Sgt. Bradshaw.

Mayor Maddox called the meeting to order.

Mayor Maddox called for a motion to enter into Executive Session. Approved. [Motion: Grider; 2^nd: Wiggins; Vote: Unanimous]

Mayor Maddox called for a motion to resume the regular meeting. Approved. [Motion: Mann; 2^nd: Grider; Vote: Unanimous]

Mayor Maddox called for motion to adjourn. Approved. [Motion: Grider, 2^nd: Mann; Vote: Unanimous].
