CALLED COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES

The City of Jonesboro Mayor and Council held a Called Council meeting on Tuesday, February 17th, 2009.  The meeting was held at 10:00 a.m. at the Jonesboro Police Station, 170 South Main Street Jonesboro, Georgia.

 

Council Present:       Rick Yonce, Mayor Pro-Tem

                                    Bobby Wiggins, Councilmember

                                    Clarence Mann, Councilmember –

                                    Roger Grider, Councilmember

                                    Wallace Norrington, Councilmember - absent

                                    Billy Powell, Councilmember

                                    Luther Maddox, Mayor - absent

                                     

Staff Present:            Pat Daniel

 

Mayor Luther Maddox called the meeting to order.

 

Motion was made to change the Alcohol application process to allow the Mayor to approve applications instead of requiring applicant to appear before Council at regular meeting. Approved. [Motion: Grider, 2nd: Powell, Vote:  Unanimous].

 

Mayor Luther Maddox called for a motion to adjourn. Approved. [Motion: Grider, 2nd: Powell, Vote:  Unanimous].
