CALLED COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES

November 3rd, 2008

The City of Jonesboro Mayor and Council held a Called Council meeting on Monday, November 3^rd, 2008. The meeting was held at 3:00 p.m. at the Jonesboro City Hall, 124 North Avenue Jonesboro, Georgia.

Council Present: Luther Maddox, Mayor

Clarence Mann, Councilmember

Roger Grider, Councilmember

Wallace Norrington, Councilmember

Billy Powell, Councilmember

Rick Yonce, Councilmember

Bobby Wiggins, Councilmember

Staff Present: Brad Johnson, Joe Nettleton, Sandra Meyers, and Janice Truhan

Mayor Maddox called the meeting to order.

Budget discussions ensued between Councilmember’s, the Mayor, and department heads. It was decided to continue discussions on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 3:00 p.m at Jonesboro City Hall 124 North Avenue.

Mayor Maddox requested a motion to enter Executive Session. Approved. [Motion: Grider, 2^nd: Powell, Vote: Unanimous].

Mayor Maddox called for a motion to resume the Regular meeting. Approved. [Motion: Grider, 2^nd: Powell, Vote: Unanimous].

Considered motion to adjourn. Approved. [Motion: Mann, 2^nd: Norrington, Vote: Unanimous].
