Built in 1839 and restored by Historical Jonesboro, Inc., this Greek Revival plantation home stands among authentic outbuildings. 6. The next place I would visit is the Patrick R. Cleburne Confederate Memorial Cemetery located at McDonough and Johnson Streets in the northern part of the city. The cemetery is the final resting place of 600 to 1000 Confederate soldiers who fell
during the Battle of Jonesboro, August 31 - September 1, 1864. The cemetery, which is maintained by the United Daughters of the Confederacy, was laid out in the shape of the Confederate battle flag. Open daily.
  7. From here you probably would want to go about and take the Jonesboro Driving tour which is a brochure you can get at the depot in step 1.
